Just beat it… just beat it…

On the radio this afternoon as I drove to the movie theater to see Iron Man, a song came on the radio… “Beat It”. It wasn’t MJ though! It was Fallout Boy. What the hell. @_@

Anyway. Leprechauns apparently exist, and climb up trees in southern Alabama. It’s an OLD clip, but I rediscovered it last night and hell… it never gets old. To those of you who remember this, cherish it, and to those of you who’ve never seen it, enjoy it:

I’ve been researching cameras again, and I think I’ve made the decision that I don’t need the humongous Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT anymore. It’s too big and too expensive, doesn’t do videos and uses only the viewfinder to take pictures… So I’ve looked into Kodak, and I think I’m going to go with the Kodak Z1012 IS.

It’s just as good, really. 2 more megapixels (for a 10.1MP count), lighter/smaller, and does HD video recordings (nifty!). If I order it soon from the Kodak website, I get a 2GB SD card free (another plus is that Kodak cameras use SD, which I already have; Canon cameras use Compact Flash, and I would have had to buy a different card) and free shipping. And no interchangeable lenses means I won’t be tempted in the future. XD

I feel really bad about Nancy, Eowyn, and Brandon getting mugged the other day. I wish I could help somehow, but I don’t know how, or if I even can… I just want to say I love you guys. <3

I have a lot to catch up on, so let’s dive right into it.

First off: TONSILLOLITHS. I think I have this. It’s where these white chunks that smell icky appear in the back of your throat sometimes. It’s merely irksome though – to fix it I’d have to get a tonsillectomy… and I don’t think I have the time/money for it. *shrug*

Next up: “Depth Solitude”. My last formal class for Film was a week ago this past Friday, and we watched this short film. Give it a watch and tell me what you think (I’m interested); I was lucky enough to find it on YouTube:

Next up: awesome commercial I saw.

I wasn’t going to talk about it until I embed it and you supposedly watched it, because otherwise it kills the surprise and the humor. :P But man, what an idea for creating needless suspense. XD I love it.

After that I have: Smashing Pumpkins “1979″. I just recently rediscovered this song – I really like it. I went and bought it off iTunes. It’s pretty magnificent… give it a listen sometime. Along the lines of music, I laughed well and hard at the beginning of R. Kelly’s “Bump N Grind” after I found out what it is. XD

Another thing: IKEA. Hopefully everyone knows my love for IKEA; after all, they are pretty effin’ amazing. I plan to furnish as much of my dorm room at Phi Kap with them next semester as I can. :P But I saw this commercial on YouTube and I couldn’t help but laugh:

Jeez, I’ve embeded a lot. Finally, I went to Atlanta today to see Seph and her boyfriend Matt (who is pretty cool, though we didn’t really have too much of a proper conversation). We went to the aquarium and then Little Five Points (pictures of which can be found here). It was a bit of a fiasco organizing it last second, but fun nevertheless. I don’t have much to say about it, though – I had fun and it was good seeing people again, but somehow it made me miss Tricia, who broke the news to me today she might not be finishing in the Fall after all. =/

If my salary were $100K, a million is only 10 years of pay – I need more to live longer. @_@ Maybe 10 or 15 million dollars would be sufficient bargaining to make me quit school.

Not much to say right now, other than that I’m tired. Soooo, here’s more survey. Please, fill it out again! I enjoyed reading your first set of responses!

(31) What items do you always carry around?: Uh… wallet, keys, iPhone.. that’s about it really. Otherwise it’s usually my MacBook bag, which has a slew of things.
